IOSH Western District Event in Limerick – Meet & Greet Oct 14th

IOSH Western District are holding a free event in the Greenhills Hotel, Ennis Rd, Limerick on Tuesday Oct 14th from 7-9pm.

This will be an opportunity for the Western District Committee to meet and greet existing, new and future IOSH members.

IOSH Ireland Development Manager, Norita Robinson will provide attendees with information regarding how to become an IOSH member, the different levels of membership and the benefits of being a IOSH member.

The evening meeting will also include talks by McCusker Environmental. James McCusker will deliver a presentation on asbestos in the workplace and Jonathan McCusker will discuss the potential hazards related to noise in the workplace.

IOSH Western District Networking Evening in Thomond Park – Dec 10th 2013

IOSH Ireland Western District committee are hosting a free seminar in the Munster Suite Thomond Park Stadium, Limerick on Tuesday the 10th of December from 7pm-9pm. This ‘Members Networking Evening’ will involve 6 presentations (12-15 minutes each) on a wide range of interesting health and safety topics.

IOSH Western District are encouraging IOSH Members and Prospective IOSH Members to attend the event and avail of the opportunity to network with other health and safety professionals.

The following topics will be presented on the night:
  • The Safe Management of a Large Public Event –Paul Quinn
  • Noise – June Ryan
  • The Chain of Survival for Victims of Cardiac Arrest – Bernie Mulqueen
  • Getting Started in EHS A personal journey – Louise Surdival and Carmel Leo
  • Risk Management – John Coleman
  • Psychosocial Risk and Work Related Musculoskeletal Disorders – Leonard O’Sullivan
